Their attractive fan-like fins have a deadly venom that protects them from predators. Another species here is the Reef Stonefish, which comes from the Indo-Pacific Ocean and is also an ambush predator.

The Giant Mudskipper is a native of Southeast Asia and is an amphibious fish that lives in water and is well-adapted to life on land. Their large frog-like eyes move independently, and they use their pelvic and pectoral fins to walk on land. The Archerfish, on the other hand, come from the Indo-Pacific and are super quick in the waters. They can take down their prey by spitting an “arch” of water at them, and can potentially shoot up to seven streams in one mouthful of water.

Seahorses, on the other hand, reproduce by the male seahorse self-fertilising the eggs that the female transfers to it, and then the males go through birth contractions that last up to 12 hours. Natives of the Southwest Pacific, seahorses are poor swimmers but have prehensile tails to grasp objects and anchor themselves to avoid drifting away.
