The Free-Flight Walk-In Aviary at KL Bird Park includes Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the park. The semi-natural environs of the aviary house a one-of-its-kind ecosystem, where birds of different species fly around freely and co-habit in harmony and balance. Meet the Crowned Pigeons, the largest pigeon species in the world, along with the Indian Blue Peacocks, Yellow-billed Storks, Doves, Egrets, Ibises and many other beautiful bird species. KL Bird Park tickets get you access to the first of the numerous mini-aviaries of the park, the Love Aviary, which is located at the main entrance area in Zone 1. The aviary has been named after the Indian Ring-necked Parakeets, who have been nicknamed Lovebirds. The Lovebirds, who are the main residents of the aviary have a strong, monogamous pair bonding and spend much of their time sitting beside each other, thus getting the nickname. Along with these small parrots, you can also meet some vibrant bird species, like the Budgerigars, Sun Conures, and Cockatiels.
Meet one of the largest hornbill species, the Rhinoceros Hornbill, with your KL Bird Park tickets at Hornbill Park in Zone 3. The grandiose landscape of the Hornbill Park is a stunning imitation of a real Malaysian tropical rainforest with its ten-storey high evergreen trees. The shiny black Rhinoceros Hornbill with vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow, is joined by the Oriental Pied Hornbill, Hill Myna, Formosan Blue Magpie, and Purple Swamphen in this perfectly balanced ecosystem. The splendidly landscaped pond has a mesmerising artificial waterfall, where you get to meet the Greater and Lesser Flamingos of the park. These birds, which originate from Africa, have pinkish feathers which is a result of their beta carotene-rich diet obtained from their pond-based home. The Asian Fairy Bluebird, the Silver Pheasant, and the Golden-breasted Starling are all hidden away in this musical land, spot them if you can!
Located in Zone 4, World of Parrots is a walk-in mini aviary that you can access with your KL Bird Park tickets. Designed to house 20 unique species of parrots, the residents include macaws, cockatoos, lories, and parakeets. Some rare and critically endangered residents of the aviary are the Pesquet’s Parrot or the Vulturine Parrot which is found only in Papua New Guinea. The Congo African Grey Parrots are renowned as the most intelligent parrot species. And the Moluccan Cockatoo which is a native of the Seram Island of Indonesia and is critically endangered because of illegal trapping and habitat destruction. These big birds evolved to the point where they have lost their ability to fly and have adapted to a life on the ground. Meet the Ostrich which is a native of Africa, runs with a top speed of 64 kilometres per hour and is the largest living bird species in the world. Another resident is the Southern Cassowary, which traces its origins to the tropical rainforests of northeast Australia and New Guinea and is now on the verge of extinction due to habitat destruction. Located in Zone 4 of the KL Bird Park is the majestic semi-open-air Amphitheatre. With a seating capacity of 350 people, the Amphitheatre hosts the KL Bird Park Bird Show, which showcases the various feathered residents of the park and is the main event highlight of the day. Head to this grand location at 12:30 PM or 3:30 PM on any day to witness the breathtaking show. The Bird Show is a part of the KL Bird Park tickets and requires no extra fees, and you are allotted seats on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Located in Zone 4 is the mesmerising mini-aviary, the Waterfall Aviary. Stroll around the lush green trees and the awe-inspiring 30-feet-high artificial waterfall. The Waterfall Aviary provides sanctuary to Milky Storks, which is a vulnerable and highly protected bird species of Malaysia. The calm waters and refreshing greenery provide the perfect environment for the Milky Storks to thrive and breed. The Restaurant At KL Bird Park
The Hornbill Restaurant and Café promises a rustic Malay gastronomic experience in the middle of a lush tropical rainforest.
Head to Hornbill Park to enjoy a meal at this restaurant styled in the Malay Kampung House architecture for a warm and rustic dining ambience.
The three-tiered restaurant can seat 100 people each on its upper and middle decks, and 60 people on the lower deck.

How To Reach:- By Bus: Take the KL Hop-On-Hop-Off Double Decker Tour Bus Service and get off at Station No. 20 in front of KL Bird Park Main Entrance. The buses are available at 30-to-45-minute intervals.
By Train: Take the KTM Commuter Train and get off at the KTM Old Railway Kuala Lumpur Station.
By Taxi/Car: Take the Jalan Bangsar route towards KTM Railway Station and Masjid Negara. Next, head towards Jalan Mahameru towards Jalan Parliamen and then to Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens.
Best Time To Visit: The best time to visit KL Bird Park is in the early morning hours. The temperatures are cool, many places are shaded from the sun, and the crowds are less, which allows you to enjoy the exciting adventure to the fullest.
